If we are to compare ourselves, are we different from the people of the other countries?
So I have an Idea on how best we can prevent/reduce on the increase of HIV/AIDS in our country.
I think that the main route course of HIV/AIDS is "SIN".
So we have to fight this enemy called "SIN".
If all people were God's fearing persons, there wouldn't have been such a rise in HIV/AIDS in our country.
In the first place, if you fear God you won't go for early sex, you will wait for the time of marriage.
Because you know that the Bible tells us that sex between unmarried people is sin/adultery, and it makes you totally avoid it, thus preventing HIV/AIDS.
Secondly, for married couples if you have fear of God, you don't cheat each other by having sex outside marriage.
Furthermore, for doctors, it makes them have love for the patients. For the love they have for patients, there won't be any case of transfusing/injecting a patient with HIV virus.
Finally, fear of God makes us look at each other as created in God’s image, there it makes also someone who is HIV + not to have that intention of spreading the virus, for he/she knows very well that if she/she spreads it is a sin, and that the punishment for sin is death (Rom: 6:23).
Besides, he/she will have that hope of eternal life.
And many more to mention but the few.
So it is my request to all Ugandans and the whole at large to submit our lives to Jesus.
For if we have truly accepted Jesus to take full control over our lives, there won’t be any cases like:
- Having sex before marriage
- Having sex outside marriage
- Spreading the HIV virus willingly
- Taking drugs which induce us to have sex, like Marijuna/cocane, intoxicating drinks/ alcohols, etc.
- Having bad peer groups.
- Defilement and rape.
- Fornication
- Disobedient
- And many other aspects of life to mention but the few.
By having Christ in us, we shall live as sons and daughters of God, and live by HIS COMMANDS.
It is really very nice to have Jesus Christ as your personal lord and savior.
Nothing is impossible to him. Try him and you will see that he is good.
Many say when you are at adolescent stage; it is very hard to abstain from sex.
My friend let me tell you, if you allow your emotions to lead you, you will fall into problem, don’t be captive of your emotions.
Surrender them all to Jesus and you will pass those stages without falling into sin.
If you are a Christian, live your life as true follower of Jesus Christ by following what he tells you in The Bible.
Finally, it is my cry to the government, to stop wasting money every year to buy condoms. With all the large quantity of condoms bought every year, have it brought any change in the reduction of HIV/AIDS? In reality, doctors themselves say condom is not 100% perfect, why that you still stick to condom?
Instead of buying condoms, let the Uganda government and of the whole world at large divert that money to help for evangelizations. They should distribute that money to different denominations/churches to help them preach the gospel/good news to many people of different regions.
To eradicate HIV/AIDS let us use the principles of ABC that is Abstain, Be faithful and have Christ. Don’t be mistaken that the last C in the principle means condom, NO! It is very wrong. If you still befriend condom, you are paving way for your death.
